Ingredients

Brussels sprouts
150 Grams
Pear
1
Almonds
50 Grams
Nutty Cheddar
40 Grams
Springs of fresh thyme

Extra virgin olive oil
2 Tablespoons
Lemon juice
1 Tablespoon
Sea salt
1 Pinch
Black pepper
1 Pinch

Steps

  1. Boil the sprouts briefly.
  2. Roast the almonds in the oven (preheated to 180°C) or frying pan, until they are lightly browned (8 minutes). Chop the nuts roughly.
  3. Slice the Brussels sprouts.
  4. Quater and core the pear, and slice it.
  5. Crumble or cut the Cheddar.
  6. Toss the ingredients and arrange on a plate.
  7. Make a dressing of olive oil and lemon juice and add the thyme and plenty of salt and pepper.
  8. Serve the salad scattered with the toasted almonds.
